Viberg's popularly outside of Japan has risen rapidly in the past couple of years, and being able to work so closely with our local neighbors still feels like a special privilege. The family run factory are just as nice to work with, and this fall we decided to make our first real boot with Viberg. Made with the tried and true Vibram Christy, the thick black rough out leather is nicely accented by the natural welt, and all black stitching. The boots came out great, the pattern, the silhouette and the materials all work perfectly together for one of my favorite special make ups yet.

One of Viberg's most popular models has been released by Second Stage in Japan. This particular pair feels very refined, almost pulled back to a similar model Viberg would have made a couple years ago. The vintage Chromexcel, and tonal Vibram sole make this a very solid fall option.

Viberg for Four Horsemen

Four Horsemen recently released their second shoe with Viberg Boot. The local connection seems to be working nicely, but this oxford is quite the departure from the first collaboration between the two. This brogue oxford uses a nice tonal look, simple detailing and the well known and loved Vibram Christy sole.
