The market is filled with vintage-inspired pieces that reference US Army and Air Force styles from the past, but Nigel Cabourn’s British roots seem to draw him to reproducing lesser-known militaria from his native country. This bomber length jacket is based on a Royal Air Force design from the 1950s, and its cotton poplin outer and quilted lining combine to create something distinctive that's perfectly suited to the season ahead.

The Tropics PO Coat, made from the same treated cotton fabric, is a new design for 2015 that combines vintage workwear details with recognizable parka styling.

Nigel Cabourn is an acknowledged expert at taking the hardwearing details of military and naval wear and turning them into something timeless that will last long enough to be inherited by generations to come.
