These Rebuild by Needles pieces bear a strong resemblance to something we might see from Comme, but that doesn't take away from the great look and interesting re-imagining of the two garments put together. While there are also some jacket styles available, these layered long coats are especially beautiful, mixing different patterns, tones and textures for a very successful outcome.

The Rebuild by Needles collection continues to grow and this season it includes some really interesting outerwear. The shirts, however, have become a staple at our shop, and they're one of my favourite pieces from the brand. This deck jacket from Needles is a real highlight in a very strong collection this season. The down quilting and modern, technical fabric are nice additions to a classic design which utilizes the same metal clip closures as some variations of the US Navy original.

There are plenty of sales on at the moment, but not so many great items left in good sizes. This Needles jacket, however, is one exception. Made in Japan from an 11oz. charcoal denim, it's a great year-round piece at a very appealing price.

This is one of my favourite pieces from the Needles SS14 collection. The boiled linen has a unique, rich texture and the grey colour works especially well with the tan buttons.

Needles Packable Bush Hat

This large brimmed, lightweight bush hat made by Needles from a 100% polyester fabric would be a good option for throwing on to keep sudden showers at bay. The packable pouch detail, hidden inside the crown, also keeps the hat folded small enough to be carried in a pocket or bag for convenient deployment.
