Nepenthes New York NBA Legends T-Shirts

01

Images

01. Karl Anthony Malone.
02. John Houston Stockton.

Words

These Nepenthes New York pocket T-shirts are an absolute stroke of genius in my book, and I’m sure that fans of '80s and '90s NBA basketball will agree. The designs feature the full names of four of the sport's legends, mixed with non-basketball themed graphics. My pick of the bunch is the John Stockton option, with its striking piano bar treatment.

The short-sleeved, cut and sew button-ups come in a variety of options, and feature a blue and white palette alongside stripes, polkadots and gingham. Unique yet wearable, the cotton shirts have mother of pearl buttons, a curved hem taped at the rear, and are all made in the US.

Needles Papillon Glasses – Samuel Sunglasses

01

Image

–01. Four colour options.

Words

Whether it's shoes, socks, hats, clothing, remade clothing or eyewear, Needles seem capable of producing just about anything at a high level. The Samuel model from the brand's Papillon glasses collection comes in four options and features flip up lenses. I don't think it was the designer's main point of reference, but I was instantly reminded of Ozzie Smith.
