Junya Watanabe's Fall-Winter '13 collection is one of his strongest. Throughout the show, a simple, dark, wool hat was featured, and in person it looks even better. It's now available online through Number 3, and also in Comme des Garçons stores.

The latest Junya Watanabe collection is filled with muted tones and a lot of patch work. The jackets and coats were definitely at the forefront of the Fall-Winter '13 offering, with a strong thread of colour and a more understated overall design compared to seasons past.

Since everyone loves a Tricker's collaboration, I thought I might highlight this 'Logger Boot' by Junya Watanabe. The all black leather on the black sole make for a clean, sharp looking boot that leaves little to complain about.

So let's get this out of the way: this jacket is expensive, relatively elaborate in both design and detail, and certainly not for everyone. However this particular Junya Watanabe collection was well received by many following its original showing back in January, and it's been interesting to see which pieces stores that carry the brand have chosen to bring in this season. The Army Green Clip Jacket is perhaps one of the most wearable pieces from the current Fall line, offering an easy-on-the-eyes colour combination, combined with some appealing details in the fastenings and closures. Yes it costs a pretty-penny, and no I probably won't ever purchase an item of clothing in this price range, but it's still fun to imagine a bottomless pit of a wallet now and again, and what you might do with it given half the chance.

Junya and Laboureur team up again for the fall after a successful spring sub-collection within the Junya Wantanabe line. The simplicity of the French work wear brand offers a nice canvas for a rather restrained piece. Simple, easy to wear and fills your lumberjack quota for the fall.
