The Junya Watanabe spring collection offers a rather paired down offering compared to the past few seasons, at least from the exterior. The collection features a great palette of blues, khaki, stripes and checks. While the pieces are still definitively Junya, they work well into almost any wardrobe and offer something unique to these basic styles.

There isn't much that needs to be said about either of these brands. They both bring a lot to the table and I feel like these pieces are very well done. They're functional, they have some great subtle details, the colors are perfect and though the price is high, pieces like this are built to last.

Junya Watanabe MAN has started hitting non-CDG retailers and has become notably more visible this season. End has received their order and have just put this work wear styled jacket online. Some might think that Junya takes the reference too far and makes it unwearable, but in this case I think it's been reeled in just enough. The colors of the cotton canvas, flannel and leather combine to create an amazing autumnal palette. The fabrics work together nicely and I think the end result is a pretty fine garment.
