Jun Takahashi’s Undercover label steadily produces some highly technical but still incredibly straightforward and usable designs for daily life. This collaboration with Porter Yoshida & Co. is one of the most attractive and functional tote bags I have come across. The military inspiration looks particularly nice, while the three exterior cargo pockets make frequently used items that much easier to get to.

Nike seems to be on roll lately, the latest success being these Tennis Classics made for this year's US Open. The premium suede style with a perforated Swoosh comes in three colours – sand, blue and black – and features a leather-lined interior and Phylon midsole, which is generally reserved for the brand's Tiempo model.

Some accessories, no matter how frivolous or over the top, just speak to your sensibilities and you can’t help falling for their charm. A fully packable, down-filled scarf might be the height of frivolity and utterly too much, but this is a pretty special looking item. I just need to think about how I might make it work.

Featuring a boatneck collar, salt and pepper flecked wool and unfinished edges, this casual fall sweater takes reference from the Nineties rock aesthetic that Jun Takahashi is often inspired by. The somewhat sloppy fit suits the style and makes for an appealing and easy to wear garment.

—01. Adjustable, wire-rimmed hood.
Though it’s a hard choice to make, this is definitely my pick from the Ten C fold this season. It’s seeming more and more that the Italian brand's impeccable designs can't miss and this parka hammers that point home by taking styling cues from a classic piece of US Navy outerwear. Also, with the various modular accessories that can be used in conjunction with this style, you should feel comfortable in all manner of conditions – once protection from the elements becomes a necessity again.

I don’t generally subscribe to pre-distressed denim, preferring to apply my own fingerprint to the aging process, but this version of the 505 from LVC looks like a perfectly worn pair of vintage jeans. The slim, straight cut is probably my favourite fit right now and Levi's have shown some welcome restraint in the distressing department, leaving you plenty of room to put your own stamp on them.
