It seems that whenever a new Ten C coat or jacket is released it climbs to the top of my favourite outerwear list almost immediately. That’s basically how I feel having seen this down jacket. The brand’s designs are always exceptional, anchored in understated styling and first-rate construction. Plus, the triangular stitching on the neck flap in this instance is incredible. They’ve made a few brighter colours in this style, but when it comes to wearability, you can’t go wrong with navy.

In the past few seasons the Italian brand Ten C has gone beyond its niche of incredibly made, simple outerwear to include pants in its offering. For Spring-Summer '15, they've gone a step further with the release of these cotton T-shirts. The lightweight jersey knit fabric, single chest pocket and basic colour options make them an easy purchase for layering or sunnier days to come.

Ten C Heavy Jersey Crew Sweat

Over the past few seasons Ten C have expanded their collection, which mostly focusses on exceptional outerwear designs, to encompass the odd staple piece. Having already released a pair of 5-pocket jeans in their exclusive poly-nylon fabric, they’ve now designed what appears to be the most near-perfect grey crew neck sweatshirt outside of Japan. Free of branding and complete with authentic details such as a ‘double v’ neck and the customary deep waistband and cuffs, this classic sweatshirt has been produced in Italy from a heavyweight Japanese jersey fabric.

Though it’s a hard choice to make, this is definitely my pick from the Ten C fold this season. It’s seeming more and more that the Italian brand's impeccable designs can't miss and this parka hammers that point home by taking styling cues from a classic piece of US Navy outerwear. Also, with the various modular accessories that can be used in conjunction with this style, you should feel comfortable in all manner of conditions – once protection from the elements becomes a necessity again.

Ten C Jeans

Ten C have expanded their line this season to include a pair of 5-pocket jeans. They are not made from denim, but rather OJJ – the brand's exclusive knitted nylon-polyester microfibre that is used for all their outerwear. The material will age uniquely and gracefully, acquiring a patina with repeated wear, much like the indigo fabric most jeans are made of.

Ten C have added this style to their collection for the winter season. Featuring a removable shearling collar and the same staggering nylon/polyester microfibre as their other coats, The Storm Parka makes for a formidable cold weather garment, especially when paired with one of their liners.

Every fall I wonder again why I've yet to pick up a Ten C jacket for myself. With several excellent style available, countless colours and various liner options, it's hard not to find something that could easily become your winter jacket of choice. Haven have received a fair few new fall styles, and seeing the various combinations on offer has me questioning my shopping habits once again.

Ten C Wine Field Jacket

Every year Ten C seems to add one or two new colours to their range of jackets. The Field Jacket in wine makes for a dark rich hue and a unique colour for this type of jacket. They are definitely one of the best premium M-65 inspired styles on the market, made from a nylon/polyester micro-fibre fabric knitted in Japan and finished in Italy, that will last a lifetime.
