I've been looking for the perfect pair of grey wool pants and this pair by Engineered Garments might just be the one. As the weather turns from fall to winter, wool is a material I wear a lot more frequently. These look comfortable and easily interchangeable between outfits. Investing in this brand has never disappointed me, so with that being said, in my opinion this is certainly a product that anyone could rely on season after season.

Arguably two of the best colors invented, especially when it comes to clothing. The Stockroom always has a nice variety of garments in olive and navy, but this fall in particular we have some especially nice pieces in these staple shades. Some are collaborations, some are standard issue and some are classics.

One of the most anticipated items this fall is the Northwood jacket by Engineered Garments. It's classic three color options make it one of the best pieces of outerwear this season, and one of the closest renditions of the Birdshooter since its disappearance in the fall of 2010. Mt. Rainier offer another great selection of handy, functional and well designed accessories.

Always a little harder to track down than either the mainline, or the Workaday pieces, Engineered Garments Intermediates offer a few really great basics worth picking up each season. Two of my favourites from the current crop are the Bush Jean and Flat Front Pant, which are both available in a great shade of khaki cotton. One's simple, straightforward, and as classic as it comes; the other, meanwhile, offers a little more in the way of originality and places to put your keys. Both are new in stock, and are currently available from Eggplant.

Engineered Garments Knit Ties

I'm not always a big fan of Engineered Garments ties, but the knit neckwear they made this fall is some of my favorite. The jacquard pattern especially is a bit more subtle than the fair isle ties and it goes great with ginghams and stripes. It was an item that I didn't expect to pick up, but after a couple wears, I'm glad I did.

EG Tokyo Store Exclusive: Uniform Serge Capsule Collection

One of the nicest fabrics in this season's Engineered Garments collection is the navy blue uniform serge. It's a rich, dark tone, and a little lighter weight than previous serge wools they've used. We have a Bedford Jacket in the fabric, but these three pieces - a CPO Shirt, Coleman Jacket and Shawl Collar Cinch Vest - are exclusive to EG's Tokyo store. Hopefully there's a Medium Coleman Jacket left this time next month.
