Since a large contingent of my colleagues reside in Vancouver, I figured it was a good time to highlight a very promising young crew growing out of the same waterlogged roots they call home. The various producers all release under the banner of Mood Hut, a new label pushing their unique sound of dubby, aquatic, left field house music. Their newest record is by Pender Street Steppers, possibly the most UK-influenced release of their catalogue. Also make sure to check out Ttam Renat's wonky workouts, as well as Cloudface's molasses-soaked Chicago cuts.

The spring collection from Jun Takahashi's Gyakusou collaboration with Nike seemed to receive a little less hype than usual this season, however it was still full of great technical running pieces. Subtle in design and more muted in colour, the focused offering included a series of 'Sweat Map' tops, lightweight shorts, and various versions of the updated Lunarspeed AXL.

Tricker's x Nepenthes Waxy Asymmetric Gibson

Nepenthes have recently launched an online feature showcasing their Spring 2014 footwear collection. Included in the offering is a new version of their Asymmetric Gibson, produced by Tricker's. The brogue dress shoe features a grey waxed upper, metal eyelets and off-white laces.

We've been producing caps with Ebbets Field Flannels for a long time now, but this season we're also offering some baseball shirts – an item the Seattle-based brand is equally famous for. We decided on insignia-free versions in black and grey wool flannel, with a narrower profile than Ebbets' standard fit to create a more contemporary appearance.
