This season Ten C released a shortened version of their classic parka, in order to provide another option for those that might struggle to wear a longer jacket. The hood size has also been reduced to make for a more manageable piece, while both these changes have been made without losing any of the jacket's original quality, design and detail.

I believed the hype and bought one of these only to return it disappointed. TEN-C indeed.

why the disappointment ?

It felt awkard and hard to wear. I bought the snow smock and could think of numerous jackets that would've taken preference. Maybe the fabric would've loosened up but I wasn't prepared to take the chance on £900 and such and unnatural feeling jacket.

Initially, I wasn't sure myself, Brian and felt similar regarding the fabric.

I've worn the red field jacket for a month now and the fabric has loosened and the jacket has really took shape. I proper like it.

Worth the effort.

Maybe it was the shape of the Snow Smock itself; I just couldn't imagine opening my wardrobe and picking that jacket over any of the other jackets in there.

The jacket above looks a lot nicer shape tho'.
