The C-Post shirt from Post Overalls is definitely my favorite in the collection. This spring it comes in two of the best fabrics possible, a red gingham and blue chambray. The shirt has several classic work wear details, including straight cuffs, tab collar, contrast sitching and of course Post's casual fit.

Sale Report: Present

01

Words

The sales are definitely on and in full force in most shops around the world. On one hand, I don't like to see it, and definitely not too early as it hurts the industry, the brands and the retailers. On the other hand, I am a consumer and it is great to get a good deal. Lots of shops have heavily discounted merchandise, but Present has some of the best items in decent size runs that I've seen. These are a couple of items I've been eying up this fall, but there are many more to be found.

Post Overalls Tweed Mattalini Jacket

Words

Post Overalls' fall outerwear selection usually features a few gems. This season's Mattalini jacket comes in a really nice tweed grey wool. Following the season's quilting theme, it makes for a great layering piece that looks nice but will also keep you warm. The tonal stitching and more subtle bar tacking work well and this style is a firm favorite of mine season after season.

Post Overalls Canvas Engineer Jacket

Words

We already featured Post Overalls' pants in the same burgundy canvas color - can you tell I like it? The Engineer Jacket adds some flannel shirt lining to keep you warm, and to offer a nice contrast to the muted exterior. The black and white gingham check looks great and I can easily think of a bunch of shirt/sweatshirt options that would look great with this piece.

Post O'alls Fall Shirts

Words

Post Overalls has gained a fair bit of momentum in Europe and North America in the past couple of seasons. After building a strong business in Japan, the small New Jersey based brand has started to open up its distribution, however it's still difficult to find a good selection of their pieces in one place. Present in London offer one of the best buys again this season and have just updated their site with not only some of my favorite shirts, but also some great wool jackets and chinos.

Katsu Naito has worked a handful of jobs since he came to the US. We met him a couple of years ago at Capsule in New York, as he now works alongside Takeshi Ohfuchi at Post Overalls. He was always quick to notice our cameras and talk about photography in the booth. With his curious attitude and interesting perspective, he's captured a unique look at New York's street culture and the people he's come across. Today he opens a photography exhibition titled 'West Side Rendezvous' at the Nepenthes New York store in Hell's Kitchen.

Post Overalls Duck Pant

Words

I've been looking forward to the fall Post O'alls collection to start landing in stores. Finally Superdenim has their first delivery and these maroon duck cotton pants are my favorite of the bunch. The fabric is perfect for autumn and with a slightly tapered leg, flannel lined pockets and Post's sturdy construction, they look great. Definitely a nice option to have for those days when you want to give your jeans a break.

Post Overalls Royal Traveler Vest

—02. Grey.

Words

Post O'alls is responsible for some of the best looking vests on the market. They offer a variety of pocket details, collar cuts and fabrics, but the Royal Traveler is definitely my favorite. I'm a bit of a sucker for keeping things simple so these olive and grey twill versions are perfect. Both are very wearable, but the olive would my be pick.
