I'd been on the lookout for a tan coloured coat for a couple of seasons, and after a fair bit of searching online and in-person, this Mackintosh came out the winner. While I like the brand's classic rubberized cotton outerwear, it's not ideal all of the time. Fortunately this spring they commissioned Loro Piana to produce a water-resistant cotton, and combined with their iconic Dunkeld style, it's immediately become one of my favourite garments.

If you're thinking about picking up a Panama hat for the summer, it will be tough to find a nicer one than this hand-woven Ecuadorian gem. The leaves of Toquilla palms are split and interlocked using the 'brisa' technique, resulting in a great looking accessory that's both lightweight and durable.

Unis Loro Piana Varsity Jacket

There are plenty of varsity jackets available these days, but Unis' collaboration with Golden Bear is one of the most understated. This particular version features a beautiful black wool which was made by Loro Piana, an Italian mill well-known for their expertise in luxurious fabrics.
