I'd been on the lookout for a tan coloured coat for a couple of seasons, and after a fair bit of searching online and in-person, this Mackintosh came out the winner. While I like the brand's classic rubberized cotton outerwear, it's not ideal all of the time. Fortunately this spring they commissioned Loro Piana to produce a water-resistant cotton, and combined with their iconic Dunkeld style, it's immediately become one of my favourite garments.

It's a nice classic coat but I can't imagine it will look good on you, as longer coats don't work for short men.

Out of curiosity, how tall should some one be to wear this coat?
