A braided ring belt has been on my mind for a little while but I couldn't recall ever actually seeing one, until today. It looks like Nepenthes has again answered the call and have done a nice version in brown leather with antiqued hardware. It's definitely a good looking belt and something I could see myself wearing pretty regularly.

I never understand why the 'hardware' on belts needs to have this kind of antique patina. Give me good, honest brass or steel any day.

Also, for me, while I love braided belts, the great thing is the way the plaiting forms the holes, which are numerous and therefore useful in adjustment... a pleasing design somewhat lost here.

Nice otherwise though.
