This blanket from the Irish woollen mill, Foxford, established in County Mayo in 1892, is one of several attractive options that the London-based shop Couverture & The Garbstore stocks in their homewares section. The colour combination is pretty unique, offering something a little more interesting than a commonplace tartan pattern. The yarn is also sure to be warm and substantial, comprised of an appealing mohair/wool blend.
