Hasami has produced an appealing selection of cups and mugs for the Japanese brand, Hobo. The three options feature a plain, natural exterior offset by a deep blue glaze, which lines the interior walls in a series of different shades.

The increased availability of Sasquatchfabrix. outside of Japan has been a welcome feature of the brand's evolution. Their mix of playful design touches and luxurious fabrics make it an interesting addition to the western market. There are a variety of standout pieces in this season's offering of clothing, footwear and accessories, but this black mohair cardigan is one of the most refined.

As part of an ongoing series with Vitra, the feature showcases Willms’ home, which reflects a cohesive sense of design that utilizes a number of their pieces alongside Alvar Aalto designed Artek furniture, Vitsoe 606 shelving, and a variety of other items that are personal to him. On top of the intimate view of his home, he also offers a glimpse into some his favourite activities and places to visit in Vancouver.

This shirt jacket by Band of Outsiders builds on a classic military reference with a number of interesting details. Flap bellows pockets, a substantial brass zipper with contrasting tape either side, and their signature full-length box pleat combine to create something unique yet still wholly understated, like much of the brand's output.

The latest album from Grouper entitled Ruins was released earlier this year, having been recorded in 2011 while Liz Harris was staying in Portugal. Intimate, dark, dreamy and beautifully restrained, the record features a generally sombre tone, "living in the remains of love," as Harris puts it.

Between 1964 and 1987 Padmore & Barnes was owned by Clarks, and when the Wallabee was introduced in 1967 it was made at their Kilkenny factory. For the next 20 years the Irish shoe manufacturer produced what is often considered the finest version of this style. The Wallabee is still part of the Clarks offering today, but like so many iconic designs it has drifted from its original form over the years. During this time Padmore & Barnes have quietly continued to make their own option, and those wanting the best possible rendition of this classic silhouette should look no further than the P204 and P404 models.
