Corona's clean lines and nice fabrics are ideal for utilitarian style garments like this vest. With adequate pockets outside and in, the muted tones also add to the wear-ability and versatility on this classic mid-layer.

Chosen as the exhibition to see out 2011, Kindred Spirits, at Peter Blum Soho in New York, focusses on works of the indigenous peoples from the Southwest of the US, and illustrates their influence on modern contemporary art. Traditional paintings, weavings, pottery and baskets are displayed alongside the work of contemporary artists such as Josef Albers, Max Ernst, Agnes Martin, Ansel Adams, Georgia O'Keefe and Jackson Pollock. The show runs until the end of January 2012, and looks well worth an afternoon of your time.

Always a pleasure when in town, popping into Present for a coffee and a browse often ends with a wish list in the making. This past week was no exception, and several pieces currently in stock certainly caught the post-Christmas eye...

—02. Olive Twill.
Available this season in both an olive cotton twill and a navy serge wool, the Engineered Garments Desert Pant is a favourite of mine, and one of the most regularly worn pieces in my wardrobe. I've heard from people who aren't sold, but I personally think that if you pick up a classic colour, in a slightly looser fitting size, you can't really go wrong. Pockets for stuff, and on sale now at The Bureau.

—02. Of the seminal one-word band, Radiohead.
The latest HUGE has hit the shelves, and it features Thom Yorke on the cover, wearing Undercover. The shoot is very beautiful, one of the nicest extended editorials of late. The mix of black and white works really well too. The rest of the magazine focuses on icons with a bit of a rebel streak in them.
—01. Made in USA.
Hand made in the US of A, these slip on leather shoes provide a nice alternative to Birkenstock, or other slip on shoes. The suedes look particularly good, especially with the rather spring feeling pants.
