Produced for Nick Knight's SHOWstudio, this otherworldly capsule collection is the result of a collaboration between stylist Stephen Mann, streetwear innovator Michael Kopelman, and Central Saint Martins fashion student Kiko Kostadinov. The trio originally took inspiration from artists Richard Serra and Lawrence Weiner, and once the idea was fully fledged, Kiko took scissors to the iconic items like a modern-day Frankenstein. The result is four crew necks, two bucket hats and two hooded sweatshirts – eight totally unique pieces of fashion history.

The Rebuild project by Needles continuously offers interesting and ultimately unique pieces of clothing. While a lot of the items are a little too tricky for my tastes, there's something about the Mods Parka that feels just right. With so much going on, the multiple panels, tones, and fabric variations somehow make more sense on a larger scale, and while I'm probably not ready to pull the trigger yet, I'm sure plenty of others are little more brave with their outerwear choices.
