Truck have grown their international reputation immensely over the past few years. While developing their compound in Osaka, the series of books they lovingly produce combined with increased interest from the western press have really helped to raise awareness. Recently, the company expanded further with a selection of new products – from sofas and beds to cabinets and lighting – and these Sutto series pieces are the highlights for me.

O.Ballou launched their first collection at select retailers this season. Based in Italy, taking particular influence from the cities of Naples and Sicily, the label focuses on luxurious fabrics and classic silhouettes, injecting a sense of youthful energy into proceedings with their imagery and art direction. The shirting and knitwear will surely become collection staples, while the designer, Simon Cato, explores more unique styles and fabrications through the brand's outerwear pieces.

Band of Outsiders Brushed Wool & Cotton Blend Bomber Jacket

As fall edges nearer, boots are becoming more of a reality than a distant memory. This style from Church's is probably my favourite option that I've seen recently. The thick sole and lower height gives them a slight Blundstone feeling, but with more premium materials and construction.

Éric Rohmer: The Complete Box Set

Probably one of the most lavish DVD box sets ever released, this stunning, limited edition collaboration between Potemkine Films and Agnès b. assembles the work of French New Wave director, Éric Rohmer. Collecting all 24 of his features, 9 short films, various documentaries and hours of additional footage, the set, which also includes a 100-page booklet and a series of collectible postcards, is a must for fans of one the most important auteurs in cinematic history. While it is only available in the European Region 2 format, having a multi-region DVD player is never a bad idea and would certainly be worth it, not least because nearly all of the films included have been remastered in high-definiton.

Though it’s a hard choice to make, this is definitely my pick from the Ten C fold this season. It’s seeming more and more that the Italian brand's impeccable designs can't miss and this parka hammers that point home by taking styling cues from a classic piece of US Navy outerwear. Also, with the various modular accessories that can be used in conjunction with this style, you should feel comfortable in all manner of conditions – once protection from the elements becomes a necessity again.
