One of the more interesting collections for me every season is Takashi Tateno’s Workers line. I greatly enjoy seeing what vintage reference he is utilizing for each collection, as most of his pieces are based on workwear, military, outdoor or traditional styles from the 1930s-70s. It is also interesting to see how he might reconfigure designs from previous collections, as is the case with his latest Mountain Shirt Parka. He is certainly taking a fresh approach to creating vintage reproductions and his website is also a fount of information, featuring many of the original items he takes inspiration from.
