Part of Workers' latest batch of releases, this Big Yank inspired work shirt is being offered in navy and grey flannel, as well as grey cotton drill and white chambray. All four are available to order now along with a new jacket, two pairs of cinch back pants, and a waistcoat in three different fabrics.

Can somebody explain why the japanese leave half an inch of extra chain thread at the bottom end of the side seams ? Is it something you usually find on vintage productions ? I don't know much about american vintage.

It is a nod to that, yes.

Some brands (Post and Beams for instance) trim the run-offs more neatly; others (Workers, orSlow, McCoy's etc) tend to leave them longer as a signature.

it's the same deal with most brands that go for more accurate repros of the past, warehouse, flat head etc leave them longer too.
