Most seasons I tend to pick up something small from a collection that perhaps appeals, but maybe doesn't bowl me over directly enough to make a substantial purchase. I have a few things here and there that fall into this category, and this Watch Cap from Mark McNairy's Fall '11 Woolrich Woolen Mills collection would seem an ideal candidate for this season's contender. The large text placement won't be for everyone, but the hat is relatively affordable, easily wearable, and available in two classic colours.

it screams 'i wanted to buy woolrich, but all i could afford was this stupid hat'. terrible. in fact, worse than that, it looks like the sort of hat they give away free at petrol stations when you fill up your tank.
