I've been on the fence with the Foley since Visvim first introduced it a couple seasons ago. From afar the sneaker is clean, takes cues from the right originals and is executed nicely. Since leaving most of my sneaker choices behind however, I find it hard wearing shoes with really round toes. Beyond that silly personal issue, the latest suede edition of the Foley is definitely my favorite. The palette is beautiful, the Goodyear welted soles are a bonus and they are no doubt very comfortable.

It strikes me as showing just how much care goes into a simple pair of trainers but also that just because a shoe is casual doesn't mean you can't cherish it and get decades of wear out of it - resoling when needed - like you can the more formal variety.
I'd like to see more high end trainer brands take this approach, I think it's one to be commended.
