We've recently added the superb Japanese vintage reproduction specialists, Warehouse, to our line-up at both shops and online. Incredible denim, rich with period details, is definitely what they do best and these two items exhibit the most exactingly recreated construction and workmanship. One is a pair of World War II era 5-pocket jeans made from a 14oz left hand twill denim that features historical considerations such as embossed buttons and omitted rivets. The other is a heavyweight, triple needle stitched work shirt with classic white buttons. These indigo items, along with the handful of other pieces we have available, are very hard to come by outside of Japan and we have more styles to follow in the months to come.

I really like the reproductions that Heller's Cafe produces with Warehouse. They're authentic looking garments, based on pieces from the early half of the 20th century that would not shy away from a hard day's work, but not generally worn for the same tasks these days.
