A new exhibition at New York's Partners & Spade opens this Thursday, and features a selection of interesting children's chairs from the collection of Patrick Parrish. Patrick operates the furniture and design store Mondo Cane, and by extension the blog Mondo Blogo. The exhibition runs from May 17th to June 10th and the chairs are available for sale both in-store and online.

Having admired his sash cord studies for a little while now, I was pleased to see that Partners & Spade recently added Doug Johnston's rope works to their store inventory. Already selling out fast these sculptural works include vessels, bowls, and baskets, and are well worth both admiring and picking up should you need something for your coffee table, or somewhere to throw your dirty socks. Fabric swatches, coffee and magazines. The things that are certain to be looked at, consumed and spoken about every day in New York. Otherwise we've had some great meetings, done a couple exciting interviews and have been enjoying our time in New York this week overall. The weather has been chilly but it's been beautiful out. I don't think we've had one bad meal and each day has been better than the last. Here's a few snaps from around the city over the last few days.

The latest issue of Inventory magazine will be released at Partners & Spade today and the space will be open between 6 and 9pm for a party to celebrate its arrival. Everyone is welcome and I hope to see a lot of our readers and supporters there. We stopped by yesterday to have a look and make sure everything was ready to go, and our candles had arrived just in time to launch at the party too. There will also be copies of all of our previous issues, our Duluth Packs and Viberg boots, the Inventory Edits supplement, and of course the brand new 148 page Issue 03.

The new issue is online and available in-store as of today, and will start hitting stockists worldwide over the next two weeks. This coming Friday, we are having an official release party at Partners & Spade in New York. We've set up a small space in their downtown store to showcase some of our Inventory Items, back issues and our Inventory Edits supplement. From Friday, October 29th, Issue 03 will also be available.
