It's not rare for me to encounter homewares or art in people's houses that I find aesthetically pleasing or even beautiful. Unfortunately though, it is rare for me to come across decorative pieces that are downright confrontational. I'm not going to speak on the message of this piece by famed artist Nari Ward. I just think it's important for us all to display a few items that increase intellectual discourse as opposed to an array of bubblegum to fit a colour scheme – especially on all too relevant topics such as this.
