The subject of Issue 05's Recollections is Koji Kusakabe, the owner of Extra in New York. This summer Jody Rogac and I visited him at his home, heard all about his experiences as a vintage buyer in the US and saw for ourselves some of the amazing items he's amassed over the years. Recollections is a relatively new addition to the magazine, but has quickly become one my favourite sections, especially to put together.

Although Koji always has a great selection of Post Overalls and EG pieces, one of the best parts about visiting Extra is discovering what new things he has dug out from the depths of his enormous vintage collection, and then hearing him tell you all the stories that surround the discovery of each item. These are a selection of things that may or may not still be around, but rest assured, if they're not, there's bound to be something else that will catch your eye.
