Albam recently released an online feature which looks at the connection between their jeans, the people who wear them and the jobs they do. Shot by photographer John Spinks, the simple, well-presented piece profiles six individuals, speaking to each of them about their careers, style rules and what they like about the brand's denim.

I've seen some great versions of the climbing short this spring and these heavily washed mineral red jams from Albam are one of the best. They feature a French military metal buckle, herringbone drawcord, and authenticated fit. The fabric makes it easy to wear, and a tastefully updated classic.

While I am a fan of Fantastic Man and I think it's a beautifully designed publication and brand, I don't often find much personal inspiration from the fashion featured. However, today's Daily Recommendation is a great look featuring some of my favorite brands, and combining a couple of corduroy pieces. The double corduroy maneuver is a tricky one and it could easily go wrong, but I like how they kept it simple with a clean crew neck sweat. Now, for the choice of footwear...

People definitely seem to be coming around on the rollneck sweater again this season. Whether it's from Nigel Cabourn, SNS Herning or relative newcomers to knitwear, it feels like the classic style is having a small revival. Albam have made their version in grey marl, charcoal and red. The fit is casual, the wool is warm and the price is very reasonable.

Albam are getting ready to release some of their first fall products and have shot a handful of looks as a preview for the upcoming season. The brand hasn't done much in the way of lookbooks in the past so it's nice to see some well taken photographs bringing things to life a little more this time around.

Albam has been one of the biggest supporters and sellers of our magazine and it's been great to work with the company over the last year. While they've helped spread our product, they have grown at a tremendous rate themselves over the last 12 months. Since I met James and the crew last summer, they've added two more shops and a number of new products. On my recent visit to London I was able to see the Spitalfields shop and quite liked the new space. I would have to say it's my favorite Albam shop of the three locations and it was nice to see the increasingly nice selection of print alongside the increasingly good offering of soft goods.

Albam Ventile Alpine Jacket

Albam continue to develop and push their products in design and functionality. Their outerwear has been one of the most obvious examples of this as the materials used, simplicity of design and production techniques have all taken steps forward. The Apline jacket will be Albam's first made from Ventile with taped seams and they say it's the ultimate evolution of the Fisherman's Cagoule in terms of performance and functionality. Overall, it's a cleaner design made from a superior fabric. Coming in orange, navy and olive, it will be hitting Albam locations in June.
