Lenard Smith, a New York based photographer and a good friend of mine, is trying to publish a book of colour photographs he produced last year during his residency at Light Work in Syracuse. The images "examine the details and fragments of the institutional setting, draw inspiration from the Modernist Movement" and reflect his "interest in several traditions including painting, architecture, interiors and still life compositions."
