I've been running exclusively in the Nike Flyknit Racer for the past year and a half. When it comes to road running, I've never found a better shoe and I still don't really expect to. However, they are extremely minimal and sometimes I feel like a more stable, cushioned ride would be nice, so I decided to try out the latest edition of the Zoom Pegasus. I thought it was one of the best versions of the shoe recently and I was pleasantly surprised. Even with the added bulk, they felt lightweight, and not overly 'soft' – something the Lunar 1 and 2 have grown to feel after running on the Racer. The silhouette looks and feels well-balanced on foot, and I felt quite quick in my stride. While I'm still a big fan of the Lunar sole, I think that the Zoom is a better option for anything over 10km.
