Words

I've been scouring over interiors a lot lately as I try to finally piece my apartment together after months of neglect. While there are so many amazing spaces out there of so many varying styles one constant I've noticed in all of the places that I like is their great vegetation. Furniture is often hard to find and the process can take a while so a nice looking plant put in the right place or in a nice planter is a pretty easy way to fill a space and make things look great. Small trees, cacti, succulents and air plants have all been catching my attention lately and it's fun playing around with different combinations and locations.

Plants, white walls, and wood floors makes for a space of simple luxury for me. A couple book shelves, a pile of records, and a comfy chair and you only have to leave the place to get more coffee beans.

Cacti make the perfect low-maintenance plant companions and will pretty much live anywhere as long as they get some sunlight and the occasional water feed. I have that same print in the left picture [by Gary Benzel/Todd St. John of HunterGatherer]
