The sandals are Margaret Howell. Unfortunately, not all of the pieces in her collections are available on the Margaret Howell online shop. Also, some stuff only gets produced for the Japanese market, where she does the majority of her business. You can find the sandals here though http://zozo.jp/shop/margarethowell/goods.html?gid=882827&did=&cid=8537
It's you GF, but I'm sure you're not alone. The cut is fuller than what is currently in fashion, but I wouldn't say ill-fitting. In the summer it's better to have a looser fit.
Howell has been making classy basics for years and years. Very simple, very subtly well-designed and quietly expensive pieces you wear year after year. Not the place to go for BoO fits or Daiki-style ostentation.
But seriously, those whining about what Margaret Howell is or isn't would do well to note that she's been doing it since forever, long before (and probably long after) this current torrent of internet-based menswear enthusiasm, and probably knows exactly what she's doing.
Well, Brian Braddock, you've obviously never seen an English Man on holidays, because over here in the antipodes they and their thongs (flip flops to you) are a dime a dosen, a penny a posse, a cent a something you get the picture

Rolled up trouser legs and nautical stripes, who'd have thought?
