Dana Gleason is a legend when it comes to backpack design. His Mystery Ranch brand leads the way as far as tactical and technical goes, but Kletterwerks, Gleason's original pack company founded in 1972 and relaunched in 2012, recalls his 1970s designs, abundant with utilitarian simplicity.
