Words

Our latest addition to the Stockroom comes from a brand in our own backyard. Based in Victoria, B.C. Viberg Boots has been making footwear for over seventy years. The brand has been catching our eye for the last few years thanks to its relationship with a number of high profile Asian brands. We were very excited to get the chance to add one of our own to their long list of custom make-ups, and we couldn't be happier with how it came out. We chose to make the 145 Oxford boot which is a lower version of the iconic 36 Bobcat. The height felt better suited for the time of the year which we took into consideration when deciding on colour/material as well. The rough-out leather in tan is a perfect light colour right now and the texture of the reversed leather is amazing without sacrificing durability. We also left out the fibreglass box toe for a more comfortable feel. The coup de grace for us was swapping out the usual sole unit in favor of a white Vibram Christy. The result is a beautiful boot that's going to age well and last for many many years to come.

Great to see a pair of Vibergs I like in a size larger than a 6. Nice seeing these this side of the pond.

Definitely - these shoes are seriously good. They look and feel so solid. I don't think there is a better low cut boot out there right now than these.

Oh my. Seriously: these look amazing. Spot on work chaps... Can I muster the courage to splash out on a pair... that's the question...

Wow. I knew you guys were gonna work with them someday and was anxious to see what you came up with. These are pretty awesome and a great suede-boot alternative. Are the pretty true to size?
