It would be tough to find a better all around knitwear brand than S.N.S. Herning. Their basic styles - the NAVAL, the FISHERMAN and of course the STARK - are some of the best looking and best fitting winter staples available. The latter with its large buttons, subtle knit pattern, comfortable wool and rich colors, seems to be a favorite of not just ours, but many S.N.S. fans. This fall we bought the classic cardigan in Sea Blue (Navy) and Olde Green, two very wearable colors that feel true to the Herning heritage.

Struggling to make sense of the fit on this piece, are there any measurements available? (I normally take a medium but occasionally a large)

Buy it! I did last fall, and I don't regret it, I wore it many times a week during winter time.

I'd say they come up quite small - medium is a perfect (fitted) fit on me and I'm 36/38 chest who normally wears small. They absolutely live up to the hype by the way, best knitwear ever. Personally I'm not so keen on the metal buttons, I've got my eye on the classic fisherman roll neck for this winter.

My most worn item last fall winter; so amazing. Incredible quality, utility, and beauty. Fit is snug for the size, although the arms are long (perfect for me being tall and slim). The ends and collar suit being rolled over once.
