Having admired the work of the art and furniture design studio ROLU for a little while now, I was happy to discover an interview with one of the studios founders Matt Olsen in the latest issue of Bad Day magazine. The interview was conducted by Patrick Parrish, of MONDOBLOGO fame, and offers a great insight into the concepts, inspirations and processes the company uses. ROLU's architectural chair designs are a particular favourite of mine, and use plywood and OSB to create an interesting alternative to some of the more pedestrian seating options available elsewhere.
