Featuring Polaroids captured by the Dutch artist in Africa between 2002 and 2010, the book uses the images in an interesting way to create texture and shape, while the embossed cardboard cover and stitched binding make it feel unique.

While not one of Neighborhood's most subtle pieces, the detailed embroidery on the Mash Jacket is incredible. It would be easy to get something like this wrong, but the Japanese brand have successfully updated a beautiful reference, creating something rich in design and balanced in aesthetic and feeling.

I've never claimed to understand exactly what the infamous Bruce High Quality Foundation is; over the years I've just assumed it's a bunch of Fluxus lovers aiming to confuse. It turns out that it's actually a school of sorts, and more recently a gallery named FUG, which is the setting for this, its first show. And they couldn't have picked a more wonderful artist to launch the space with, as Noah Davis is sure to amaze with his twisted vignettes of decades past. It's also the current home of a few pieces from The Underground Museum, a non-profit he runs.

I'm a sucker for anything with a check pattern, possibly because of The Specials poster that was in my mom's bathroom when I was a kid. Even without the back detail, this would still be a beautiful garment, as Name. makes some of the best quality shirting to come out of Japan.
