Over the last five or six years there has been one definitive name in our blogosphere, Hypebeast. I would be surprised if anybody who reads this website hasn't visited before. I'd also be surprised if every blogger out there wasn't influenced by the website in one way or another. Over the last couple of years Hypebeast has cemented its place at the top even further by refining their layout, execution, video and series of features. Recently we were fortunate enough to be featured by Hypebeast in relation to our new space, the development of the magazine and the direction of our brand.

Gitman Vintage provide some of the best madras shirts each season and this summer is no different. Using the patterns they used with Seavees sneakers, they have now produced a limited range in their new style: the BD Pop over shirt. Coming in two colours, the lightweight, slim fitting shirts offer a great way to bare the heat while keeping your outfit complete with a nice 'pop' of colour.

Another summer classic I would expect to see back on people's feet sooner than later are espadrilles. While it might be a better idea to snag a pair for $10, Kitsuné have made a beautiful pair in a natural colour. Handmade in France, if you have the chance you might as well get the nice ones.

The Duluth Trading Co. have a number of great looking items on their website. While it's a little bit hard to get an idea of the product as they are all illustrated, the few images you can see make the footwear seem like a pretty good deal. They are made in the USA, and while they might not be quite as good as what we've seen from Red Wing or Yuketen, the price of $130 is pretty appealing and definitely makes them a good spring option.

Sassafras continues to be one of our favorite brands from Japan these days. The gardening references are lighthearted, clever and result in some great looking garments. One of the items featured in the spring issue of Inventory are the Fall Leaf Pants. The twill cotton is a great weight, has a nice texture and is accented nicely by the donut buttons, clean labeling and interesting pocket details. The pants are one of a handful of Sassafras items I've personally handled and tried on, and each time I've been very impressed.
