Visvim releases its seasonal PFD jacket accented with a beautifully thin Italian whaled corduroy, a three layer Gore-Tex, and raglan sleeves. I may not be able to buy something this expensive, but rather just admire for now. It's functionally attractive and unique, from the collar to the color it's a nice piece.

One of the nicest fabrics in this season's Engineered Garments collection is the navy blue uniform serge. It's a rich, dark tone, and a little lighter weight than previous serge wools they've used. We have a Bedford Jacket in the fabric, but these three pieces - a CPO Shirt, Coleman Jacket and Shawl Collar Cinch Vest - are exclusive to EG's Tokyo store. Hopefully there's a Medium Coleman Jacket left this time next month.

Last winter Eleanor Pritchard started her line of woolen blankets that she produces each winter. Taking reference from things from the beaches of Dorset, to weather maps to sleeper cars, the British designer's blanket are meticulously woven on a traditional dobby loom from 100% wool. Each one features a beautiful patterns, amazing texture and wonderful soft colours. Ideal for the foot of the bed, back of the sofa or over the shoulders.

These handmade ties by Jim Christensen are immaculate. From the shape to the labels to the incredible deadstock fabrics, they are really nicely made. The redish brown shirting fabric is especially nice, and my choice of the new batch. Circa 1920-30s, it's a great weight and the color is rather unique.
