While looking into some exhibitions to visit on a trip to the West Coast, I stumbled across a fine looking one back home in New York. Roving Signs is a group show curated by Terry Winters, and featuring the work of 11 artists including Donald Judd, Anni Albers, Richard Aldrich, The Center for Land Use Interpretation, and Rachel Harrison. The show opened back in July, but there's still a few days left to take in what is sure to be an excellent and interesting collection of work.

There's always one or two Junya Watanabe pieces every season that really stand out for me. This Cotton Canvas Mac is the real winner. The khaki cotton next to the corduroy cuff and collar trim, longer length and interesting pocket arrangements all make it a great jacket for fall.

In my experience, few styles of shirt rival the wearability of a well constructed football tee. On top of that, the thicker cotton variations and clean lines make it feel more designed than a basic tee, even though it's based on garments you probably wore as an elementary student.

There is a good number of brands making plain baseball caps these days. Depending on your budget, taste and brand loyalty, you can arguably find more good options than ever before in this category. While this six panel A.P.C. cap is a little more pricey, it has a classic look and is made in Italy from a premium fabric.

C.P. Company Single Pocket Shirt

The proof is in the details when it comes to Italian tailoring. Such is the case with this single pocket shirt in taupe twill from C.P. Company. This simple, casual shirt is made from a heavyweight cotton, with a hidden button down collar and is triple stitched for added strength. It is worth noting that it does suffer from what Oi Polloi calls 'italian sizing', which means size up accordingly.
