Nike's latest Gyakusou collection was released yesterday. The sub-brand has weathered some of the initial trend driven hype and seems to have found its footing within the running landscape, offering highly functional, great looking pieces. This collection is one of the strongest yet; there's a great mix of colour and tonal fabrics, and the footwear has evolved nicely as well.

Richard Serra – New Sculpture

Following 2011's highly successful Junction/Cycle exhibition, the Gagosian Galley in New York presents another new body of work from the famed sculptor Richard Serra. New Sculpture – a series of works using weatherproof steel that were produced in 2013 – will close out the year in two of the gallery's New York locations. 7 Plates 6 Angles, Intervals, Grief and Reason (for Walter) and Counterweight 1 and Counterweight 2 will all be shown at the 24th Street location, while a single work Inside Out will be presented at the gallery on 21st Street. A preview of the exhibit begins tonight at 6pm, and will offer the first chance to take in what is bound to be a truly phenomenal new body of work from one of America's greatest modern sculptors.

The Converse 1970s Chuck Taylor releases have been quick to sell, and for good reason. But I would expect this collaboration with Neighborhood to sell especially fast. The all white sole paired with blue suede and a subtle woven heel detail make for a good-looking, easy to wear shoe.

This season the Vancouver-based shop, Neighbour, teamed up with photographer Jennilee Marigomen once again. Featuring a selection of the store's fall deliveries, the resulting lookbook was shot at Simon Fraser University and offers a nice sense of the campus architecture, the grounds and, of course, the products themselves.

Perfect for the crisp weather that's just begun to arrive here in New York, this style offers everything Engineered Garments is so well-known for, along with a few nice surprises. While perhaps not for everyone, the elasticated cuffs and drawcord hem are a nice change from more traditionally styled pieces, and the Uniform Serge Wool is a warm but relatively thin fabric choice, that allows for plenty of layering options.
