Neighborhood consistently make some of the most extravagant incense chambers around. They always use kaolin clay with a white and blue cobalt oxide underglaze to create something unique. The latest edition is arguably one of the most tame, featuring a line of skulls and the message, "Never Put Off Tomorrow What You Can Do Today."

Neighborhood is probably better known for their interesting and unique interpretations on military and work wear garments. Often using a bit of flare and not ones to shy away from a bit of branding, however this range of Goodrich trainers by the Japanese brand are subtle and clean. They come in a variety of colours, but the white, olive and black are my favorites.

There aren't too many new arrivals these days, but Haven have just received a new delivery from Neighborhood. Included in the shipment are these Mil-Cargo pants in two colours. Lately I've been looking at a lot of cargo pants, and if you're okay with some subtle branding, these could be a nice option.

It seems a common thread that a lot of our favorite Japanese brands make some of the best casual headwear. These boonie hats are great for the summer, especially if the sun decides to make an appearance. They come in black, tan and camouflage, but the two pictured seem to be a little harder to find.

If you're looking for a vintage reproduction with no frills, then Neighborhood isn't for you. If you like more unique reinterpretations with tasteful branding and an off-kilter twist, then there are a lot of great garments in Neighborhood's new collection.

Neighborhood's Black Icon collection from this fall is one of my favourites in recent memory thanks to a number of more unassuming pieces like this one. The familiar military reference is there as usual but it's not over done with embroidery or printing. Rather, it's a faily simple 4 pocket shirt in a great shade of olive — an ideal colour for a fall layer. As usual, the details make it. Here they come in the form of the contrast stitching and buttons. It's just such an easy top to wear and with so many different things.
