It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Wtaps. I don't own too many of their products as a lot of them don't fit with my general style, but the brand has always resonated with me in some way. I'm not entirely sure why, but I think it has something to do with their overall attention to detail and the depth of reference that surrounds everything they do. If you aren't aware of how much thought goes into the brand, or simply like seeing behind the scenes, the Wtaps blog is a good place to spend some time.

Having graduated from Birmingham Institute of Art and Design in 2008 with a degree in Furniture Design, Dean Edmonds has steadily created an interesting body of work in a variety of metals and woods. One of his latest designs is this simple but considered pine shelving, available, along with all his pieces, via the website below.

"Basically it is throughout the year, but every single year especially right before summer I focus on buying t-shirts. I already have many, but still I end up buying more. The feel of the sizing at the time or because of the graphics; it is probably because t-shirts are an item that are easy to change up depending on feeling. Even if it is ragged with holes or the neck is stretched out from wearing every year, I will keep wearing it if it is something I like. I try to choose accordingly within myself like when there is a meeting I will wear a fresh and nice one, and when I go to the beach I wear something light that may dry fast. When I have to make that decision in the morning, I truly feel that a t-shirt is more than 'just a t-shirt'" — Yukiyoshi Shimada.
