—01. Hand poured in Brooklyn, New York.

Words

We've been working on this collaboration for quite some time now and it's just about ready. It's a scented candle - our first non-wearable Inventory Item - and we're really pleased with the end product. We worked closely with Frederick Bouchardy at Joya in New York and thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. The scent, Fig, Sunwashed Oak & Amber, is quite intricate, but the smell is warm and subtle, filling the room nicely without being overpowering. The candles have been poured; we're just adding the finishing touches, but they'll be available in the next week or so, priced at $45.

Available soon at Inventory Stockroom, Partners & Spade and Dover Street Market

Candles are the shit. I cant believe how shocked some of you guys are...

45 dollars is pretty much ball park for decent candles.

How much are the FIL / 45rpm incense and candles? i bet they're insanely expensive...

So Brian, would you buy a garment without touching it or trying it on? Would you purchase an album without having listened to the whole thing already? Sometimes you have to take a chance, to be pleasantly surprised and introduced to something previously unknown. Perhaps when I buy a candle in Vancouver, and realize that I should have bought another one for a gift, I will be happy to know that Inventory also has an online store.
Kudos to Inventory.

These guys have been selling Malin+Goetz and Baxter candles in the past...why the big fuss now? As for the price, the Monocle x CdG candles are £50 and were sold online to begin with.

On a separate note, how are you guys planning to ship these? Glass tumblers don't travel well in a brown paper envelope and I am still waiting on the replacement that absolutely shattered in transit. :-(

Ryan, if the haters want to hate...let 'em hate.

You're doing what you want to do, what you love and what's right for Inventory.

The rest of you: Go. Create.
