Over the course of 2012 we took on one of our biggest projects, directing and producing this book, Thirty Years of Research in Style: WP Lavori in Corso. It was a pleasure to work with such an incredible company and we're thankful that WP Lavori allowed us so much input and access during the process. The result is a 256 page hardcover book that delves in-depth into a unique and interesting company that has recently celebrated their 30th anniversary.

While I know several advocates of this particular look, I've never actually tried a short sleeve sweater for myself. The only examples of this type of garment I've seen in the flesh have been vintage, and none have ever been close enough to the right fit and size for me to try them on. These new arrivals at Silver & Gold, from the Japanese licensed Champion brand, are pretty tempting though, and they look to be a nice item to pick up for the current in-between season we're experiencing here in New York.

The 5-pocket 519 from LVC features a pre-shrunk cotton with copper rivets, zipper-fly and the big E label. The colour is great for the spring, or fall, and offers a slightly tapered fit through the leg.

The N-3 Utility Shirt originally completed the uniform of USN troops deployed in tropical theatres in the 1940s. Made from a lightweight woven fabric, the olive colour is an ideal shade, while the shirt details themselves are interesting, yet unassuming.
